I’m exhausted from flying down to Florida and back home in the span of about 30 hours, so I’ll keep my thoughts short and sweet today.
Like you, I experience hurdles and successes. It’s just part of life.
Yesterday, while filming an endorsement video with Kevin Harrington, we got to talking about successes and hurdles.
The one thing we both agreed on was that most people don’t realize just how much and how many times super successful folks have failed.
Everything you do in your life is accompanied by some form of risk. That risk carries some degree of fear.
If the line from where you are right now to where you want to be was straight and easy, everyone would be a Kevin Harrington.
But because he took big risks, he’s reaped big rewards. Truth be told, not every risk was successful. He too experienced failures.
We’re all human. Even the ultra rich aren’t perfect people.
Just like you and me, Kevin also experiences the emotions that come along with reaching for the next level.
It was nice of him to share his thoughts. We laughed a little, talked about each other’s family a bit and just enjoyed working together.
Neither of us knows the impact this endorsement will have on our businesses, but we do know if it’s positive, we’ll be working together in the future on other projects.
Folks have asked me why I accepted this endorsement. My initial reaction was, why not?
But answering that question further leads to future endeavors this opportunity might lead to. Moving forward I’ll be invited to Kevin’s round table events — I have no idea who I’ll meet there or what that could lead to, either.
Life for me is about experiences. This was a great experience to work with Kevin and his team. I’ve already made some great media contacts as well, and all of these experiences are invaluable in my opinion.
