Traditionally, many people look to the end of the year to reflect on things they’ve accomplished both during the year and over their lifetime.
It’s easy to see why — it’s a nice, neat, marked end to the calendar, almost like the end of a chapter in a book.
It helps set up those resolutions for the following year, too, so you can come out swinging in the New Year.
However, I think right now is a great time to take stock of your accomplishments, too.
Yes, it’s smack dab in the middle of spring (and almost summer) while I write this, but hear me out.
See, by this time of the year, we’re already 4.5 months into the year.
That’s 37.5% of the year already gone.
It may seem like you were watching the ball drop just yesterday in the dead of winter, but it’s almost June!
In one month, we’ll hit the halfway point of the year.
Thus, it’s an excellent time to see what you’ve been able to accomplish so far.
Plus, it’s right around now that some people naturally realize how fast the first chunk of the year has gone by.
It kinda hits you when someone mentions that it’s almost June.
Some people might be surprised at how much they’ve done by this point.
Unfortunately, many others might have taken their time for granted.
This might give them that little kick they need to bust their tail through the rest of the year (especially during the fall and winter, as you’ll see next).
On the topic of June, though, another reason why now is a good time to look over what you’ve done is that summer is approaching.
Summer is a time of vacation, socialization, and relaxation.
Sure, you might still work during the summer.
But you’re not trapped inside all the time like during the winter (assuming you live somewhere with winter weather).
The fall and winter offer great opportunities to put your head down and get things done (kinda like a school year).
Then, you can look back on how far you’ve come since the previous fall and plan your next moves before pumping the brakes a bit as you slide into the summertime.
So, if I were you, I’d make it a habit to evaluate where you stand at least twice every year: once toward the end of the calendar year (which you might already do) and again in mid-May — right before the sun comes out, the temperatures climb, and the beach beckons.
Speaking of summer, you know what kind of accomplishment could make your summer even more enjoyable?
A nice financial boost.
A little bit of extra cash means you can travel more during the summer. It’s that simple.
And after a year like 2020, a relaxing vacation is what a lot of people need.
A lot is going on in the markets at the moment, but I can help you earn that extra money by teaching you my passive trading system.
